I'm sick of BOOM BOOM BOOOOOOOOOM!

Why is it, that when people are having a party next door, the music is made from just low frequency sounds? Seriously, when they have there music on, all I hear is just pounding bass! Why is today's music made out of just bass and a pounding kickdrum? There's no melody or complex stuff in it, all of today's songs are the same! What's more, I think they are insane, I hear the boom booming comming form next door for a few minutes, it stops for a few seconds, then it starts again, why do they do that?
